Arthur Boden, American<br/><br/>After attending Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, where I studied painting and illustration, I continued study at The Art Students League, The New School, and Pratt Institute. This led to work in design studios and advertising firms as a layout artist, illustrator and graphic designer, followed by a position as art director at IBM.<br/><br/>My focus gradually shifted from working as a graphic designer to expressing myself by creating acrylic paintings and prints. The Marlboro Graphics Gallery exhibited a series of my silk screen prints. This was followed by a one man show of my large acrylic paintings at the Weinger Gallery.<br/><br/>I also designed and produced Boden’s Beasts, a children’s book of whimsical three dimensional animals hand created from ordinary household items. Boden’s Beasts was followed by Boden’s Birds and Boden’s Bugs.<br/><br/>My acrylic paintings and prints are held in numerous private collections,
