David Garibaldi is an artist and entertainer whose paintbrush is his microphone. Originally from Los Angeles, Garibaldi was a rebellious street-graffiti artist until a high-school teacher challenged him to make his art more meaningful. He later painted urban works in the studio and created artworks onstage during hip-hop and jazz performances, inspiring him to develop his show, “Rhythm & Hue.” Describing it as “a dance routine involving painting,” Garibaldi stuns audiences by kinetically creating huge pop-culture portraits in less than six minutes, accompanied by music.
