About This Piece
The Art
This giclee print offers beautiful color accuracy on a highquality paper gsm that is a great option for framing with its smooth acid free surface Giclee French for to spray is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the papers surface creating natural color transitions

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

The Artist
William Cooper first exhibited at Heffers Gallery, Cambridge, while an undergraduate at Corpus Christi College. Following war service in India William Cooper was a schoolmaster at Sherborne, maintaining his artistic career and initially specialising in collage and mixed media. A series of London scenes from this period has been widely acclaimed and reproduced. Since retiring he paints full time, working in both oils and acrylic. The Cornish landscape and particularly the St. Ives school have been strong influences. William Cooper has won various prizes in open competitions, exhibited widely in galleries, the RA and the RWA, including solo exhibitions at St. Johns, Smith Square, and the Bloomsbury Gallery in London. His work is represented both publicly and privately in the UK, USA and Australia and has been reproduced frequently on greetings cards, book and magazine covers and prints.

Wanted something interesting for a plain wall, not just a decorating piece. As an ex Londoner this was perfect for me.
