Bodel Rikys, artist and illustrator, has been exhibiting in group and solo shows since shortly after she moved to London in 1979. She is the author of several illustrated children's books, published by The Bodley Head, and is currently working on another book. Born in New Zealand, her eye for colour is informed by the southern hemisphere light. Her work uses bold lines to draw together images from the symbolic and natural worlds.
