About This Piece
The Art
Untitled oil on canvas Arundell Lucinda Contemporary Artist Private Collection The Bridgeman Art Library

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

The Artist
Lucinda Arundell lives and paints in Truro, Cornwall. She was a student of Robert Lenkiewicz for some years before his death in 2002. Winner of the Lloyds Art Group prize in 2008, Lucinda is best known as a portraitist and has hung in the Mall Galleries in London, Lanhydrock in Cornwall (solo exhibition), the Riverside Gallery in Golant, Gallery 286 in Earl's Court and the PZ Gallery in Penzance, amongst others. Her series of Floating Girls has drawn widespread critical acclaim. The theme of floating, or sleeping, is a recurrent one in her work, symbolising freedom and release.
