About This Piece
The Art
This giclee print offers beautiful color accuracy on a highquality paper gsm that is a great option for framing with its smooth acid free surface Giclee French for to spray is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the papers surface creating natural color transitions

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

The Artist
Celia Washington's oils, mixed media, drawings and prints conjure up a world at once strange, familiar and utterly compelling. A nomadic childhood helped her to develop a strong inner vision, although it was not until she was 19 that her imagination found an outlet through painting. Over the last 25 years she has used her experiences as a long-term outsider to create boldly drawn and evocatively-coloured figurative paintings. Her work like that of many other Scottish painters reflects a deep fascination with poetic and psychological myth and symbolic legend. Celia Washington has already established an international reputation with shows in London, New York and many other countries.
