Vanilla Beer is an internationally exhibited artist with work held in collections in America, Canda, England, Ireland, France, Australia and Asia. Beer has a track record as an innovative artist and a book of her recent work concerned with food ('Prenez, Mangez et Vivez', published by Peacock University Press) came out in 2007, edited by Tony Mann. In 1984 she created an 80ft long installation for the Royal Festival Hall and in 1991 won the Mail on Sunday award for new artists, selected by Edward Lucie-Smith. In 1997 she recieved an award from The Ray Finnis Charitable Trust. She has taught at most of the London art schools and in Paris, is a fellow of the Printmakers Council, an Artescape Fellow and currently lives in France. She continues to paint food - what else!
