Kevin Parrish is a traditional painter, self taught, sometimes venturing into surreal, and inspired by the natural beauty of life in the world around him. His genre of artwork is often an extension of his hobbies and interests. Born, Birmingham in 1953 Kevin spent his formative years in the county of West Midlands and has been painting professionally since 1995. Kevin has since developed his styles with portraiture, figurative, landscape scenes, including railways and canals. Kevin is an associate member of the Guild of Railway Artists and his railway paintings have been exhibited and sold throughout Britain. His work has been published in articles and magazines and shown at solo exhibitions in Stratford upon Avon Library and Leamington Spa Museum.
