About This Piece
The Art
This giclee print offers beautiful color accuracy on a highquality paper gsm that is a great option for framing with its smooth acid free surface Giclee French for to spray is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the papers surface creating natural color transitions

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

The Artist
After studying at Goldsmiths College, University of London and Hornsey College, University of Middlesex, Frances Treanor taught art and lectured on design appreciation in various ILEA establishments. She is best known for her paintings of flowers and still lifes in pastel, a medium she has specialised in for twenty five years. She uses all types of pastel and will often combine soft and oil pastel techniques in the same painting to create impasto and other effects. Colour is one of the most important elements in her work and she particularly admires the immediacy with which pastel colour can be applied and developed. Frances Treanor has won many awards and commissions and her paintings are exhibited widely and published in Europe and the USA.
