Delta mission to the International Space Station (ISS) over the Netherlands, artwork. This mission (April 2004) included Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers and a variety of European science experiments. The Expedition 8 crew (Alexandr Kaleri and Michael Foale) were replaced with the Expedition 9 crew (Edward Fincke and Gennady Padalka). The Soyuz spacecraft (one at lower left) were Soyuz TMA-4 and Soyuz TMA-3. The ISS, built in stages since 1998, is a collaborative project between the national space agencies of the USA, Canada, Japan, Russia and Europe. It orbits at an altitude of around 360 kilometres. This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
