The Art

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

The Artist
Liz Wright's formative years were spent at art college during the radical change of vision which took place during the late 1960s. Her rejection of the late abstract tradition places her in the context of a post-Pop Art representational revival. Her painting is thus essentially English and forms part of the figurative and romantic landscape traidition that is so seminal to work in this country. Liz Wright's sense of humour within her art, her use of metaphor and quotation make her a part of the post-modern condition.
