'Balmoral Castle', Aberdeenshire, Scotland, 1924-1926. Balmoral became the summer residence of the British Royal Family after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed there in 1848. They enjoyed their stay so much that the Prince Consort purchased the estate and set about extending the 15th century castle. A print from Hutchinson's Britain Beautiful, edited by Walter Hutchinson, volume I, 1924-1926. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
