Charles VII, King of France, on horseback in full armour, 15th century (1882-1884). Charles (1403-1461) ruled France from 1422-1461. His reign saw the recapturing from the English of all of France with the exception of Calais. A print from La France et les Français à Travers les Siècle, Volume II, F Roy editor, A Challamel, Saint-Antoine, 1882-1884.
