'The North Side of the Harbour at Sebastopol, 22 June 1855'; showing three soldiers with firearms in a defensive position above the harbour. Sebastopol, Ukraine, was defended by Russian forces in the Crimean War until August 1855, when she fell to the allied troops. The harbour's open north side was an important route for Russian supplies and troops to reach the army base at Simpheropol. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
