Studies of cats, 1513-1515 (1954). Found in the collection of the Royal Library, Windsor Castle, Windsor. A print from Leonardo da Vinci by Ludwig H Heydenreich, (London, 1954). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.

Great Frame

By Davinci fan

from Woodbridge, Virginia

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Framing Job Was Well Done
  • Nice Workmanship

Cons

  • Blurry Low Res Copy
  • Looks Like Cheap Xerox
  • Not as Expected
  • Poor Quality Material

Purchase Reason

  • Accent Piece

Comments:

Good craftsmanship as far as the framing was concerned but the quality of the print itself was extremely disappointing. The original is a straightforward ink drawing but the print I received was gray and blurry. I could have made a better print on the copier at work.
