John Gilpin riding to Edmonton, 1878. John Gilpin was the subject of an 18th century ballad by William Cowper. It describes how, on a journey to Edmonton, he became separated from the rest of the journey after losing control of his horse, and ended up in the town of Ware, ten miles away from his intended destination. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
