Product Details

Proposed scheme for redecorating the Painted Chamber, Old Palace of Westminster, London, c1817(?). Possibly the west view, showing tile pavement discovered in 1817 beneath the boarded floor, and a floor to ceiling tapestry on the south and west walls depicting the Siege of Troy. The windows have stained glass, including that at the west end of the north wall which was formerly bricked up. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
