Lady Jane Grey, (c1537-1554), 1937. After the death of the 15 year-old King Edward VI, Lady Jane Grey (c1537-1554), the great-granddaughter of Henry VII, reigned as uncrowned queen regnant of the Kingdom of England for nine days in 1553. She was deposed by Henry VIII's eldest daughter Mary, who had her executed for treason the following year. A print from the Illustrated London News: Coronation Record Number, (London, 1937). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
