'Princess Mary, later Queen Mary I', c1537, (1902). Mary Tudor (1516-1558) was Queen of England and Queen of Ireland from 1553 until her death. Mary, the fourth and penultimate monarch of the Tudor dynasty, is remembered for her attempt to return England from Protestantism to Roman Catholicism. Illustration from Henry VIII, by A F Pollard, published by Goupil and Co, (London, New York, Paris, Edinburgh, 1902). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
