1935 Singer 1.5 Litre Le Mans taking part in a water splash trial, (1935?). In 1934 Singer introduced a six cylinder version of the popular Nine Le Mans; the 1.5 Litre. Two of the new 1.5 Litres were entered in the 1934 Le Mans taking second and third places in the Rudge-Whitworth Biennial Cup and finishing 7th and 8th overall. The following year Singer converted three of their 1.5 Litre Le Mans Tourist Trophy cars to Trials and Rally cars for use by the Singer Works Team. Only 71 of the 1.5 Litre Le Mans Singers were ever produced. This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
