In 1968 Clark won his twentyfifth victory in the South African Grand Prix at Kyalami, beating Fangios twentyfour wins.He was Formula 1 World Drivers Champion twice, in 1963 and 1965. Clark drove exclusively for Lotus until his death in 1968 in a Formula 2 race in Hockenheim, Germany.
