The Albert Memorial, London, 1901. The memorial to Albert, Prince Consort was erected in Kensington Gardens near to the Albert Hall. George Gilbert Scott won the competition to design the memorial and it was unveiled in July 1872. Photo published in The Process Year Book, by AW Penrose & Co, London, 1901. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
