The Moscow Art Theatre, 1920s. The Moscow Art Theatre was founded by Constantin Stanislavski and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko in 1898. After the Russian Revolution it became one of the foremost state-backed theatres in the Soviet Union. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
