About This Piece
The Art
Ultra Deep Field galaxies Hubble Space Telescope Ultra Deep Field the deepest view ever taken of the universe in Each dot of light is a separate galaxy Some of these are amongst the most distant objects ever seen over billion light years away and thus over billion years old To detect these extremely faint galaxies the HST focused its ACS and NICMOS cameras on an apparently empty patch of sky for one million seconds The infrared NICMOS data shows galaxies at a redshift of up to which were among the first objects to form in the universe after its birth billion years ago

To create this stretched canvas print, your image is printed directly onto an artist-grade cotton canvas and expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars. An acrylic coating protects the high-quality giclée print from dust, moisture and fading. Finished with hand-painted edges, this stretched canvas print provides an artistic look with depth and texture.

5 stars is not enough
The Hubble telescope trained its eye on a blank portion of the sky and took a long exposure. The blank portion now showed not just new stars but new galaxies where before it was only darkness. A remarkable picture
