About This Piece
The Art
'Henry I', (1068-1135), c1787. Also known as Henry Beauclerc, was King of England from 1100 to his death. He was the fourth son of William the Conqueror and was educated in Latin and the liberal arts. His only legitimate son and heir, William Adelin, drowned in the White Ship disaster of 1120, throwing the royal succession into doubt. From A New, Universal and Impartial History of England by George Frederick Raymond. [J. Cooke, London, c1787]

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.
