About This Piece
The Art
'Portrait - Mary, Queen of Scots', c16th century (1904). Mary, Queen of Scots (8 December 1542 - 8 February 1587), also known as Mary Stuart[3] or Mary I of Scotland, reigned over Scotland from 14 December 1542 to 24 July 1567. After Francois Clouet (c1520-1572). From James I. and VI, by T. F. Henderson. [Goupil & Co., Paris, Edinburgh, New York, London, 1904]. (Colorised black and white print).

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.
