The Art
'Cows watering', mid-late 18th century, (1928). 'Cows drinking', pen with wash on paper. At one time known to have been in the collection of Henry Oppenheimer, London. Italian Venetian painter and printmaker Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo (1727-1804) was the son of artist Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, and elder brother of Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo. Illustration from The Drawings of Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Volume II, by Detlev Baron Von Hadeln. [The Pegasus Press, Paris, 1928]

This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are “sprayed” onto high-quality paper. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.
