Highbury Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club from 1913-2006, aerial view. The stadium, officially called Arsenal Stadium, is located in Highbury, in the London Borough of Islington, UK. It is an all-seater stadium with a capacity of 38,500. This was considered too small for a club of Arsenal's stature, but the proximity of houses and roads meant the stadium could not be redeveloped. Arsenal FC built a new stadium, the Emirates Stadium, not far away at Ashburton Grove. This new stadium, with a capacity of 60,000, will be their home from the start of the 2006 season. This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
