John Donne (1572-1631), poet and Dean of St Paul's Cathedral -- monument in the Old St Paul's, which he commissioned for himself before his death. He is shown wrapped in a winding sheet, standing on a funerary urn. It was one of the few monuments which survived the Fire of London in 1666, and can now been seen in the present building. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
