This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.

Cons

    Purchase Reason

    • Fill Wall Space

This piece is outstanding. I needed a fairly large piece of art to fill the space (9-foot ceilings) above the sideboard in my dining room, and I had my heart set on something with an equestrian theme. I knew I'd get the most bang for my buck by going with a canvas as opposed to a framed print, as framing such a large piece is quite pricey. Additionally, I felt a canvas would look very nice against the board and batten wainscoting.
The artwork arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I was so excited to see the beautiful colors of the art -- the greens, browns and tans offer so many options to pick up different shades of fabric and wood in the room. The clarity of the artwork is very good; no detail was lost when the piece was enlarged to this large size. Although the top of the wood framing is a tad bowed, exposing some of the black edge, this is an issue that I have chosen to overlook, given the reasonable price I paid. I may choose to frame the piece without glass at some point down the road, and this would totally cover up the imperfection.
I am so glad I didn't allow a previous negative review to steer me away from this lovely artwork.
