This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. About the Art

A leading French Post-Impressionist, Paul Cezanne bridged the way from 19th century Impressionism to a revolutionary new world of 20th century Cubism. Both Matisse and Picasso are quoted saying Cezanne was “the father of us all.” Although his radical departures were underappreciated and even ridiculed in his time, Cezanne’s studies of visual perception, geometric simplification, and experimentation with complex fractured forms kept his style changing significantly over his lifetime. Cezanne was an eccentric, solitary enigma, often working in isolation, removed even from his own family.

  • Accent Piece

Comments:

This stretched canvas print turned out to be the perfect piece above our bedroom fireplace that has a Mexican tile surround with sea green and black accents. It created a wonderful balance for the sitting room area in the master suite.

The still life setting can cross decortating schemes from traditional, French, Italian, or Spanish Colonial. The colors are warm and inviting. The apples provide the perfect pop of color that draws the eye to the piece.
