Sandra Iafrate

Sandra Iafrate is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of place, memory, and material. Working in painting and mixed media, she creates layered compositions incorporating maps, textiles, and found elements, reflecting a balance between structure and spontaneity, and personal and collective narratives. She holds an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and brings over 20 years of experience as both a studio artist and educator. Her work has been exhibited in solo and juried shows across North America and internationally, including Toronto, New York, and Amsterdam. Based between Canada and the United States, Iafrate continues to create and contribute to the arts through her studio practice and educational initiatives.
