Evening Catch (oil on canvas), Willis, Tilly (Contemporary Artist) / Private Collection / The Bridgeman Art Library This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.

Tilly Willis was trained at Somerset College of Art and the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. She grew up in Somerset where she now has her studio. She is an established portrait painter but her subject matter also includes still-life, interiors and landscapes. Much of her work, now familiar through the publication of cards and prints, is the result of her travels in Africa. Tilly has exhibited at solo shows in London and the counties as well as group exhibitions throughout the country. Her work has been published on cards by the Medici Society and prints by Athena. She has had commissions for paintings from the National Westminster Bank, Jersey and The Mildmay Hospital, London to name but a few.
