The total solar eclipse of 11 July 1991. A total solar eclipse is the occultation of the Sun by the Moon. In this image, a few pinkish flares may be seen in the bright corona (top, bottom and centre right of disc). The bright patch of light toward lower right is a small part of the solar disc visible at the edge of the Moon. This effect is known as the 'Diamond Ring'. This eclipse was visible in Hawaii and Baja California in Mexico. Maximum duration of totality was 6 minutes 54 seconds. In many locations, the view of the eclipse was spoilt by cloud cover. This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.

Comments:

I picked this print for my living room. My colors did not go well with the print. I would use this print in a larger room with a larger print size.
