Although he uses the modern medium of acrylic oils, his techniques are reminiscent of the Barbizon, Hudson River and Old Florida schools that call to mind Herzog, Inness and Bierstadt. Although his conservative family discouraged an art career, Fronckowiak could not be swayed from portraying the history of a bygone era which has become his living artist’s legacy. He paints from his home studio in Venice, Florida.
