Alix Soubiran-Hall (b. 1974) studied in Paris at l' Ecole Superieure des Arts Graphiques and Centre Pictural des Arts Decoratifs. She started a freelance carreer painting murals in Paris, London and the Caribbean. She paints mostly portraits of her friends in colorful and dreamlike settings. Her portraits are fresh and rather classical. They usually have an intimate narrative with a tweak or and odd connection. In 2002, she started her own company: "L'Alma-Marceau, Inc." which specializes in creating murals for high end interiors. In 2004, Alix's painting entitled, "Our Fabulous Babysitter" was hung at the Royal Academy's Summer exhibition in London. She presently lives and works in Florida.
