Napoleonic Wars: Battle of Corunna (La Coruna), Spain, 16 January 1809. View from the sea of the Battle of Corunna, an engagement in the Peninsular War. Retreating from a much larger French army, the British under General Sir John Moore were able to hold the French off long enough to be evacuated by sea. Moore was mortally wounded in the battle. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
