Sir Julian Hedworth George Byng, British First World War general, (1926). After commanding the 9th Corps during the Gallipoli campaign, Byng (1862-1935) was given command of the Canadian Army Corps in 1916. After the victory at Vimy Ridge in 1917 he was promoted to full general and placed in charge of the British Third Army. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
