Fred Rickaby, English jockey 1901. Rickaby (1869-1941) won the 1000 Guineas on Mimi in 1891 and the Oaks on two occasions, again aboard Mimi in 1891 and on Canterbury Pilgrim in 1896. His daughter, Iris, was the mother of Lester Piggott. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
