Ferniehirst Castle, Jedburgh, Borders, Scotland, 1924-1926. Ferniehirst Castle was originally built by the Ker family in around 1470. It was rebuilt in the late 15th century after being undermined during a siege. A photo from Hutchinson's Britain Beautiful, edited by Walter Hutchinson, Volume 4, 1924-1926. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
